You just have to learn how to make them work all together. For instance the Harmonious tri-fecta of Web 2.0 is Tumblr -> Twitter -> Facebook. You set up your tumblr to send tumblr updates to your twitter and your add the Twitter App to facebook. Thus when every you make a post on tumblr, the people on facebook will be notified. And whenever you don’t want to bring up a web browser to tell the world about how many times you’ve showered that day, you can just pop open an application like “TweetDeck” or “Twirl’ and post your tweet from the comfort of your desktop. The tweet will then be sent directly to facebook. :)

I think that Tumblr is like the midway between something micro and small like twitter the big and bloated Blogspot or Wordpress. I just don’t feel obligated to write as much crap about shit on my tumblr as I would with my wordpress blog. :3

Tl:dr. Figure out a way to make your apps work for you and not the other way around. :D
